Role Purpose

As a Digital Marketing Intern at Education Direct Worldwide, you will gain hands-on experience in executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content marketing, SEO, social media, and online advertising. You will work on real-world projects to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate engagement across multiple digital channels.


What You'll Do and How You'll Make an Impact

  • Assist in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for SEO.
  • Develop engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, and promotional materials.
  • Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, social media insights, and other marketing tools.
  • Support email marketing efforts, including campaign setup, audience segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Research digital marketing trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in managing and updating website content to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Typical Tasks & Activities

  • Schedule and publish content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and descriptions to improve search rankings.
  • Track and report key performance metrics for marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in designing visuals, graphics, and promotional materials for campaigns.
  • Monitor and respond to online interactions and community engagement.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing tools, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media, and PPC advertising.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills for social media, blogs, and email campaigns.
  • Understanding of graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw insights to improve marketing performance.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for digital marketing.
