Role Purpose
As a Digital Marketing Intern at Education Direct Worldwide, you will gain hands-on experience in executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content marketing, SEO, social media, and online advertising. You will work on real-world projects to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate engagement across multiple digital channels.
What You'll Do and How You'll Make an Impact
- Assist in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for SEO.
- Develop engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, and promotional materials.
- Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, social media insights, and other marketing tools.
- Support email marketing efforts, including campaign setup, audience segmentation, and performance tracking.
- Research digital marketing trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
- Assist in managing and updating website content to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Typical Tasks & Activities
- Schedule and publish content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and descriptions to improve search rankings.
- Track and report key performance metrics for marketing campaigns.
- Assist in designing visuals, graphics, and promotional materials for campaigns.
- Monitor and respond to online interactions and community engagement.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing tools, trends, and best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media, and PPC advertising.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing platforms.
- Strong writing and content creation skills for social media, blogs, and email campaigns.
- Understanding of graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data and draw insights to improve marketing performance.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for digital marketing.
