Role Purpose

As a Content Developer Intern at Education Direct Worldwide, you will be responsible for creating, curating, and enhancing educational content for online courses. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about writing, instructional design, and digital education. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and designers to develop high-quality learning materials that engage and educate global learners.


What You'll Do and How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop well-structured and engaging educational content, including course materials, articles, scripts, and assessments.
  • Research and organize information to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, educators, and multimedia developers to create interactive and visually appealing learning experiences.
  • Adapt content for various formats, including text, video scripts, quizzes, and infographics.
  • Ensure content meets accessibility and usability standards for a diverse range of learners.
  • Proofread and edit materials to maintain consistency in tone, grammar, and style.
  • Stay updated on e-learning trends and best practices to enhance content development.

Typical Tasks & Activities

  • Write, edit, and structure course content for clarity and engagement.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to create high-quality learning materials.
  • Work with multimedia designers to integrate visuals, animations, and interactive elements.
  • Develop quizzes, assignments, and other assessments to reinforce learning.
  • Review and revise content based on feedback from instructors, learners, and team members.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining a digital content library.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in education, instructional design, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to break down complex topics into clear, engaging, and structured learning materials.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Google Docs.
  • Basic knowledge of multimedia and graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Creativity and passion for developing high-quality educational content.
